Fastener Tightening Specifications

CYLINDER HEAD

CAUTION: Attach the cylinder head bolt washer in the direction.





Using special tool MD998051 and a torque wrench, tighten the bolts to the specified torque in the order. (in two or three steps)
Tightening torque: 108 ± 5 Nm (80 ± 3 ft. lbs.)

Loosen the mounting bolts in the reverse sequence to that shown.

Tighten the mounting bolts progressively in the shown sequence to the specified torque again.
Tightening torque: 108 ± 5 Nm (80 ± 3 ft. lbs.)
