ENGINE STARTING WITH THE IMMOBILIZER OVERRIDE FUNCTION - SERVICE MANUAL REVISION

PURPOSE
This bulletin contains instructions for starting the engine of an Immobilizer-equipped Mitsubishi vehicle using the Immobilizer Override function. This procedure would be necessary in the event that all keys for a vehicle are lost and the vehicle needs to be started using a key cut from a non-transponder key blank. The instructions in this bulletin are not included in the service manuals for the listed affected vehicles.

NOTE:
For more information about the Immobilizer feature, its function, related PDI procedures, Override Code retrieval (through ADNS), and key registration, refer to TSB-99-00-003 REV.

Write the TSB revision number of this bulletin in the "TSB Revision" box at the bottom of the affected service manual page.
