Scan Tool Testing and Procedures

Input Signal Inspection Points:

1. Connect the scan tool to the data link connector.

CAUTION: Always turn the ignition switch off when connecting and disconnecting the scan tool.

2. If buzzer of the scan tool sounds once when a switch is operated (ON/OFF), the ECU input signal for that switch circuit system is normal.
