NOTE If the temperature of the three-way catalyst is low when the exhaust gas is tested, the three-way catalyst cannot effectively clean the exhaust. Accordingly, the engine needs to be sufficiently warmed up before the exhaust gas is tested, and the gas should then be tested immediately.
