ROM PACK REPROGRAMMING CROSS-REFERENCE FOR MEDIC

This bulletin replaces TSB-01-00-008REV, issued April 2001, which should be discarded. Revised information is marked by "-->".

PURPOSE

As announced earlier, Mitsubishi Motors dealers who have the MEDIC system can reprogram the red ROM pack used for reflashing various vehicle's PCMs. The database numbers listed in the reprogramming TSBs and the database numbers used by MEDIC may not always agree. The chart lists each TSB, the TSB database number, the corresponding MEDIC database number and the correct password to use with each database.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

When reprogramming a RED label ROM-Pack, use the following labor operation in conjunction with a warranty PCM reprogramming repair. This operation should be entered below the actual vehicle repair operations.

Labor Operation No. 238501 A1 Time Allowance: 0.3 hrs.

NOTE:
RED label ROM-Pack reprogramming labor times apply ONLY when used in conjunction with a customer's VIN and one of the reprogramming TSBs listed above.
