Component Testing

VEHICLES SPEED SENSOR CHECK
1. Remove the vehicle speed sensor and connect as shown in the illustration, using a 3 - 10 k ohms resistance.
2. Use a voltmeter to check for voltage at terminals (2) and (3) when the pulse generator shaft is turning. (One revolution is four pulses.)
3. If within the standard value, the vehicle speed sensor is OK.
If not within the standard value, replace the vehicle speed sensor.
