Keyless Entry Transmitter Battery: Service and Repair

1. Insert a blade-lip screwdriver or the like into the slit shown in the illustration and pry open the cover. Then, remove the battery out of the transmitter.
2. Install a new battery with its positive side down.

Replacement battery: Coin type battery CR2032

3. Close the cover firmly.
4. Make sure that the keyless entry system operates properly.

NOTE: When the transmitter is opened, be careful not to allow water, dust, etc. to stick to the inside of the transmitter.
