Brake Shoe: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
Pre-removal Operation:
- Loosening Parking Brake Cable Adjusting Nut.
- Brake Fluid Draining

Follow removal steps outlined in illustration.





Removal Service Point
Retainer Removal.
Use an flat-tipped screwdriver or the like to open up the retainer joint, and remove the retainer

INSTALLATION
Installation in reverse order as removal.

Installation Service Points
>A< Wave Washer Installation.
Install the washer in the direction shown in the illustration.

>B< Retainer Installation.
Use pliers or the like ha install the retainer on the pin securely.

Post-installation Operation:
- Brake Fluid Filling and Air Bleeding.
- Parking Brake Lever Stroke Adjustment.
