Annulus Gear and Transfer Drive Gear Set

DISASSEMBLY
Follow disassembly steps outlined in illustration.

NOTE: Disassembly service points as follows:





A. Bearing removal. (2)





B. Transfer drive gear removal. (3)





C. Bearing removal. (4)

ASSEMBLY
Assembly in reverse order as Disassembly.

NOTE: Assembly service points as follows:





A. Bearing installation. (4)





B. Transfer drive gear installation. (3)
Install the transfer drive gear in proper direction. The direction can be identified by the groove provided in one of the pinion side surfaces.

CAUTION: Replace the output flange and transfer drive gear as a set.





C. Bearing installation. (2)





D. Snap ring selection. (1)
Select a snap ring, which should be the thickest one that can be installed in groove.
Standard value: 0-0.06 mm (0-.0024 inch)
