Parking Brake Cable: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Parking Brake Cable Assembly (Drum Brake):

1. Remove the floor console.
2. Remove the rear brake lining assembly.
3. Remove the parking brake cable.
4. Reverse procedure to install, ensuring that the parking brake stroke adjustment is within specifications. Adjustments

CAUTION: SRS When removing and installing the floor console, do not let it bump against the SRS-ECU or other components.
