Erasing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

CAUTION: Turn "OFF" the ignition before connecting or disconnecting the scan tool.




Connect the scan tool to the data link connector (16-pin), then erase the diagnostic trouble codes.


NOTE:
The memory cannot be erased under the following conditions:
- When the stop lamp switch is not turned "ON" and "OFF" according to the table below.

- When the generator "L" terminal voltage is increased (Hi state).
