Clutch Pedal Assembly: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove scuff plate.
2. Remove cowl side trim.
3. Remove junction block installation bolt.
4. Follow removal steps outlined in illustration.

INSPECTION:
1. Check the pedal shaft bushing for wear.
2. Check the clutch pedal for bending or twisting.
3. Check the return spring for damage or deterioration.
4. Check the turnover spring for damage or deterioration.
5. Check the pedal pad for damage or wear.

INSTALLATION
Installation in reverse order as removal.

NOTE: Operational steps after installation as follows:
1. Adjust clutch pedal.
2. Install junction block.
3. Install cowl side trim.
4. Install scuff plate.
