Upper Control Arm

REMOVAL
Follow removal steps outlined in illustration.

INSPECTION
1. Check the bushings for wear and deterioration.
2. Check the upper arm for bends or damage.
3. Check all bolts for condition and straightness.

INSTALLATION
Installation in reverse order as removal.

NOTE: Installation service points as follows:





a. Upper arm bracket installation (4).
Tighten the upper arm bracket installation nut and bolt so that the dimension shown in the illustration is at the standard value.
Standard value (A): 35.2 - 39.2 mm (1.38 - 1.54 inch)





NOTE: If the upper arm bracket is installed with the former-mentioned standard value, the reference dimension is determined as follows;
B: 213.5 mm (8.4 inch)
C: 269.2 mm (10.6 inch)

NOTE: Operational steps after installation as follows:
- Wheel alignment check and adjust.
