A/C
1. Loosen tension pulley fixing bolt A.
2. Adjust belt tension with adjusting bolt B. The standard deflection value when a new belt is installed is 5.5 - 6.0 mm (0.22 - 0.24 inch) and 6.5 - 7.5 mm (0.26 - 0.30 inch) for a used belt. Tension is 382 - 411 N (86.0 - 99.2 lbs.) for a new belt and 255 - 333 N (57.3 - 75.0 lbs.) for a used belt.
3. Tighten fixing nut A to 23 - 26 Nm (17 - 19 ft. lbs.).
4. Check the belt deflection amount and readjust if necessary.
NOTE: This check should be carried out after turning the crankshaft one full rotation or more in the forward direction (to the right).
