REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION




[A] HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR /HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR DISCONNECTION For 2.0L Engine (Non-turbo), the exhaust manifold threads must be cleaned with an 18 mm (.7 in.) x 1.5 + 6E tap after the heated oxygen sensor has been disconnected.

]A[ HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR /HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR CONNECTION
If reusing the original sensor, coat the sensor threads with an antiseize compound such as Loctite 771-64 or equivalent. New sensors have compound on the threads and do not require an additional coating.
