Parking Brake Lever: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Parking Brake Lever Assembly:

1. Remove the floor console.
2. Refer to the illustration and remove the adjusting nut and parking brake stay.
3. Remove the bushing and brake switch and the cable equalizer.
4. Remove the parking brake lever.
5. Reverse procedure to install, ensuring that the parking brake stroke adjustment is within specifications. Adjustments

CAUTION: SRS When removing and installing the floor console, do not let it bump against the SRS-ECU or other components.
