Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Brake Pedal Assembly:

1. Remove the brake pedal return spring.
2. Remove the snap pin, washer and clevis pin.
3. Remove the shift lock cable connection.
4. Remove the brake pedal assembly.
5. Remove the cotter pin and link assembly.
6. Remove the brake pedal shaft bolt, bushing and spacer.
7. Remove the brake pedal and pedal pad.
8. Remove the stop lamp switch and pedal support member assembly.
9. Reverse procedure to install, ensuring that the brake pedal adjustment is within specifications. Adjustments
