5: ABS Light Doesn't Illuminate With Key in Start Position

Inspection Procedure 5:

COMMENT:
The ABS-ECU uses the power to the ignition 2 (IG2), which is cut when the ignition switch is turned to "START." The ABS warning light uses ignition 1 (IG1) power, which is not cut even when the ignition switch is fumed to "START." Accordingly, because the power to the ABS-ECU is stopped in "START" position, the warning light does not illuminate at this time. The cause is a problem in the light illumination circuit in the valve relay.

PROBABLE CAUSE:
- Malfunction of the wiring harness or connector.
- Malfunction of ABS-ECU.
