FRONT SUSPENSION NOISE DIAGNOSIS

PURPOSE

Abnormal front suspension noises such as popping, knocking, or clunking can come from components in five front end areas:

^ Crossmember attachment

^ Stabilizer bar

^ Lower lateral arm

^ Upper arm

^ Lower compression arm

Follow the inspection procedures in this bulletin to determine appropriate repairs and/or parts replacement to eliminate the noise. Be sure to follow the procedures in the order listed in this bulletin.
