Without Scan Tool

1. Record radio presets.
2. Place ignition switch in OFF position.
3. Disconnect battery ground, for at least 10 seconds.

NOTE: The malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) should be illuminated when the ignition switch is turned to the ON position. When the engine is started, the MIL should go OFF. If the MIL remains ON, a code has been stored in the electronic control module.
