NEW AND REVISED F4AC1 AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES SERVICE MANUAL REVISION
PURPOSE
This bulletin contains new, revised, and corrected troubleshooting procedures for the 1995 Eclipse 2.0L nonturbo equipped with the F4AC1 automatic transaxle. This information supersedes the diagnostic procedures on pages 23-112 through 23-115 in the service manual. When troubleshooting the F4AC1 transaxle, use this bulletin instead of the indicated pages in the service manual.
Write the TSB revision number of this bulletin in the "TSB Revision" box at the bottom of the affected service manual page.

TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION
Refer to TSB-96-23-002 for more information when troubleshooting the F4AC1 automatic transaxle. Pay close attention to the TCM connector (A-77) pin numbers. Disregard the pin numbers embossed on the back side (wire end) of the connector. Use the illustration at the left or the diagram in TSB-96-23-002 for reference to identify the correct pin numbers for troubleshooting measurements.

1995 Eclipse Service Manual, Volume 1, Pages 23-112 through 23-115 Disregard the information above, and substitute the new information into the service manual.
