Claims for this campaign must be entered as "C" type claims (E-5 on your Diamond Network Warranty Menu). A sample claim is shown in this bulletin.

Campaign Labor Operation: C9605LXX

Campaign Labor Time: 3.0 hours - This labor time allowance provides 2.2 hours
for fuel tank replacement, 0.3 hours for a road test to
check for leaks, and 0.5 hours for proper disposal of the
old fuel tank.

Premium Gasoline Refill of fuel tank with premium fuel.
Enter $17.85 dealer net price = $25.00 after 40% parts
markup is added. This added markup provides
compensation for the labor time for vehicle refueling.

Other Additional Charges:

No other charges may be claimed on the "C" type campaign claim. Any other unrelated warranty covered repairs must be separated out and claimed on a normal "W" claim.

Vehicle owners should be advised to make an appointment to ensure the fuel tank repair kits are available. Except for unusual circumstances, rental cars and SHO charges related to this campaign should not be claimed. If necessary, these types of charges must be entered on a separate "W" claim, with an adequate explanation using labor operation number 1360100 on line "A" with 0.0 hours labor time and $0 dollar amount claimed. Charges for RENTACAR and/or SHO must be listed on the lower lines with the applicable costs entered.
