Ignition Switch: Service and Repair

Ignition Switch - Removal And Installation:






CAUTION: Before removal of airbag module and clock spring refer to service precautions and Air bag Module and Clock Spring.

REMOVE
Steering Lock Cylinder
- Steering wheel
1. Plug
2. Hood lock release handle
3. Instrument under cover
4. Column cover lower
5. Column cover upper
6. Clock spring
7. Column switch
8. Ignition key illumination ring or ring cover
9. Steering lock cylinder


Key Reminder Switch Segment Or Key Hole Illumination Light
4. Column cover lower
5. Column cover upper
10. Key reminder switch segment or key hole illumination light

Ignition Switch Segment
4. Column cover lower
5. Column cover upper
11. Ignition switch segment


ETACS-ECU
12. Cowl side trim (LH)
13. Junction block
14. ETACS-ECU

INSTALL
Steering Lock Cylinder
1 Steering lock cylinder
2. Ignition key illumination ring or ring cover
3. Column switch
4. Clock spring
5. Column cover upper
