Fig. 12 Condenser Fan Motor Terminal Identification:

1. Apply battery voltage to motor connector terminal 1 while grounding terminal 4, Fig. 12. Condenser fan motor should operate smoothly and quietly.
2. Apply battery voltage to motor connector terminal 3 while grounding terminal 2. Condenser fan motor should again operate smoothly, but at a higher speed.
3. If results are not as indicated, a new fan motor should be installed.
