Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

When opening the fuel system, since fuel pressure in the fuel line is high, perform the following operation to release fuel pressure in the line.

1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the protector to disconnect the fuel pump connector.
3. Start the engine and let it run until it stops, turn the ignition switch to OFF.
4. Connect the fuel pump connector to install the protector.
5. Install the rear seat cushion.
