Camshaft Gear/Sprocket: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove front upper timing belt cover.
2. Follow removal procedure outlined in illustration, noting the following.





3. Use a wrench at the hexagonal part of the camshaft(to prevent the crankshaft from turning) to loosen the camshaft sprocket bolt.
4. Remove the camshaft sprockets.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order, noting the following.
2. Perform engine adjustment. Refer to Powertrain Management.
