Radiator: Service and Repair





REPLACEMENT
1. Drain the engine coolant.
2. Refer to the illustration for the removal procedures, noting the following:





3. After making mating marks on the upper/lower radiator hose and the hose clamp, disconnect the radiator hose.
4. After removing the transaxle fluid cooler hose from the radiator, plug the hose and the radiator nipple to prevent dust or foreign particles from getting in.
5. Reverse the removal procedure to install, noting the following:





6. Insert the upper and lower hoses as far as the projection of the water outlet fitting or water inlet fitting.
7. Align the mating marks on the radiator hose and hose clamp, and then connect the radiator hose.
8. Ensure that the coolant and transmission fluid reservoirs have been replenished.
