Loud Noise When Sunshade Closes




1. If a "clunk" noise is heard when closing the sunshade, check to see if the drip channel interferes with the inner roof. If so, bend 15 mm of the end of the drip channel down until it is approximately 5 mm from its base,

2. The noise may be caused by the sunshade hitting the front of the sunroof housing at the sunshade closing point.

a. Obtain foam padding with 10 mm thickness. Cut two pieces of the padding to approximately 20 mm X 10 mm.




b. Use trim cement to glue the foam pads to the front of the sunshade, about 13 inches apart as shown.
