SUNROOF INOPERATIVE

PURPOSE

On some affected vehicles, the sunroof may become inoperative, remaining in the open position. This condition is likely due to water traveling over the sunroof drive cables and damaging the sunroof control unit.

To eliminate this condition and help to prevent future reoccurrence, apply a water insoluble grease to the sunroof drive cables, apply butyl rubber to the guide rail and guide rail rod holder, and replace the sunroof control unit.

AFFECTED VEHICLES

1995-96 Eclipse models produced between May, 1995 and January, 1996.
