Removal/Installation

1. Drain differential fluid into an appropriate container.
2. Remove center exhaust pipe.
3. Remove driveshaft as outlined under Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and Joints.
4. Remove propeller shaft.

5. Remove differential carrier in numbered sequence as shown, Fig. 1 and 2, noting the following:
a. Hold bottom of differential carrier and remove rear wheel oil pump through mounting hole, then the differential carrier.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
