With Multi-Use Tester

1. Adjust screw to obtain the following kickdown brake pressures when pressure control solenoid is activated at 50 percent duty ratio with diagnostic scan tool. Correct kickdown brake pressure is 39 psi.
2. Ensure reducing pressure is 51-68 psi after adjustment. This adjustment must be made with oil temperature at 158-176°F. Higher oil temperatures result in lower line pressure at idle, making accurate adjustment difficult.
