WARRANTY REPAIR
Under the remanufactured automatic transmission program, dealer repairs are limited to those shown in the adjacent table. Basically, all internal transmission repairs other than the valve body should be corrected by replacing the transmission with a remanufactured unit. Complete diagnostic procedures for transmissions in this program can be found in a new MMSA Technical Training Program entitled Diagnosis for Remanufactured A/T Program. A copy of this publication has been shipped to all Service Technicians who are registered in the Mitsubishi Tech Team Program. Diagnostic trouble charts in this publication supersede the ones in the service manual. It also supersedes the previous publication entitled KM175 Diagnosis and Repair.

NON-WARRANTY REPAIR
Remanufactured transmissions can be used for vehicles that are out of warranty if the customer agrees to the repair and if the core is properly returned to CRS. Internal automatic transmission components are stocked by the MMSA Parts Distribution Centers to cover non warranty repairs in which transmission overhaul is preferred by the customer.
