WARRANTY INFORMATION

Future Warranty Coverage Implications

Many automatic transmission/transaxle problems and failures can be attributed to lack of scheduled maintenance.

Dealers should inquire into the previous maintenance records for vehicles brought in during warranty period with problems that occur past the recommended service intervals. Warranty coverage should be denied when scheduled maintenance has not been performed and where the exhibited condition could specifically be attributed to a lack of proper maintenance.
