Removal and Replacement

Fig. 37 SDU Replacement:

1. Remove floor console, Fig. 37.
2. Remove cup holder, console plug and rear console assembly.
3. Remove SDU and harness.

Fig. 38 SRS-ECU Harness:

4. Place flat tip screwdriver against connector metal lock spring, then push spring toward inside of SDU and disconnect harness, Fig. 38.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
