Wastegate Actuator: Service and Repair

Turbocharger Components:

REMOVAL
1. Remove the actuator rod clip pin.
2. Disconnect the actuator rod from wastegate control arm.
3. Remove the vacuum control line.
4. Remove the actuator mounting bolts, and remove the actuator (item #2).

INSTALLATION
Follow the removal procedures in reverse order. Torque actuator mounting bolts to 10 Nm (7 ft-lbs).
