Air Bypass Valve: Service and Repair

Air Cleaner, Air Piping And Components (Turbocharged):

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the bypass air hose.
2. Remove the vacuum control line.
3. Remove the bypass valve from the inlet air pipe center section.

INSTALLATION
1. Clamp the valve to the inlet air pipe center section.
2. Attach the vacuum control line. Torque to 4 Nm (3 ft-lbs).
3. Fit the bypass air hose and clamp. Torque to 4 Nm (3 ft-lbs).
