Accessory Signal: Description and Operation

PURPOSE/OPERATION
Input signals (battery voltage) from the stop light switch, defogger relay and the tail light relay are detected by the engine control module load sensing circuit. The engine control module then controls the idle circuits to compensate for the extra load.
