Ignition Cable: Description and Operation

PURPOSE/OPERATION
The spark plug wires connect the terminals in the coil pack to the spark plugs, allowing high voltage to flow to the spark plugs. The wires have an internal resistance to suppress radio static and to eliminate static that may interfere with sensitive computer components.
