Thermostat: Service and Repair

1. Drain coolant into an appropriate container.

2. Remove thermostat in numbered sequence as shown, Fig. 45.
3. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:

a. Install thermostat with jiggle valve lined up with mark on thermostat housing, Fig. 46.

b. Align air intake hose "A" notches with marks on air intake hoses "B" and "C". Insert hoses into air intake hose "A" until bottomed out, Fig. 47.
