Upgrade Appointment Preparation

Thorough preparation is the key to minimizing time delays in completing the 3000GT Spyder Upgrade. A few recommendations are:

1. If the vehicle is dirty, wash it before starting the vehicle upgrade to prevent any paint damage.

2. If your assigned Service Technician is unfamiliar with the component locations and terminology of the retractable hardtop system, have them review, in advance, the 3000GT Spyder Technical Highlights Video # 59 that was distributed to all dealers when the 3000GT Spyder was first introduced.

3. Ensure that two adjacent workdays are available and that they have a clean workbench space, an electrical extension cord, and a compressed air outlet and hose.

4. Install plastic seat covers and paper floor mats in the front and rear seat area to protect the vehicle interior.
