Kickdown Servo




KICKDOWN SERVO ADJUSTMENT
1. Completely remove all dirt and other contaminating materials adhered around the kickdown servo switch.
2. Remove the snap ring.
3. Remove the kickdown servo switch.
4. Loosen the lock nut.




5. While holding with the special tool (09454-33101A) so that the kickdown servo piston won't turn, use a kickdown servo socket wrench-B (09454-33101 B) to "tighten", the adjustment screw at 10 Nm (7.2 lb. ft). Loosen and tighten the adjustment screw two turns, and then finish tighten at a torque of 5 Nm (3.6 lb. ft). Again loosen the adjustment screw 2 to 2-1/4 turns.
6. While holding with special tool (09454-33101B) so that the kickdown servo piston won't turn, tighten the lock nut to the specified torque use special tool (09454-33101A).

Lock nut: 25-32 Nm (250-320 kg.cm, 18-23 lb. ft)




7. After installing a new O-ring in the groove surrounding the kickdown servo switch, arrange the O-ring so that it is not twisted. Install the kickdown servo switch into the case, and then install the snap ring.
