Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Description and Operation

PURPOSE / OPERATION
The Intake Air Temperature Sensor is a resistor-based sensor for detecting the intake air temperature. According to the intake air temperature information from the sensor, the Engine Control Module provides necessary fuel injection duration control.
