HOW TO CLEAR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES WITHOUT A SCAN TOOL

Trouble codes will remain in the ECM as long as battery power is maintained. The trouble codes will be erased when the battery negative terminal (-) or the engine control module connector is disconnected for 15 seconds or more.
