Removal
REMOVAL1. Remove the engine coolant pump pulley, and belt.
2. Remove the timing belt cover.
3. Move the timing belt tension pulley toward the engine coolant pump, and temporarily secure it.
4. Remove the timing belt from the camshaft sprocket.
5. Remove the camshaft sprocket.
6. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
7. Remove the timing belt.
NOTE: If the timing belt is reused, make an arrow mark indicating the turning direction (or the front of the engine) to make sure that the belt is reinstalled in the same direction as before.
8. Remove the crankshaft sprocket bolts. Remove the crankshaft sprocket and flange.
9. Remove the timing belt tensioner.
