Fig. 3 Exploded View Of Driveshaft:

Refer to Figs. 3 when disassembling the front driveshafts, noting the following:
1. Wrap masking tape on splined end of driveshaft prior to removing joint boot.
2. On models equipped with a Double Offset Joint (DOJ), proceed as follows:
a. Make alignment marks on DOJ inner race and cage.
b. Remove DOJ cage from inner race by turning cage in a clockwise direction looking at end of driveshaft.
c. Using a suitable brass drift, tap DOJ inner race off driveshaft.
3. Reverse procedure to assemble, noting the following:
a. Align mating marks made during disassemble.
