Purpose

This bulletin provides instructions for the replacement of the transaxle's end clutch oil seal for certain 1994 model year vehicles. All affected vehicle owners will be notified by a letter requesting them to return their vehicles to their Mitsubishi Motors dealer to have the end clutch oil seal replaced. A sample letter is shown in this bulletin.





Note:
Some vehicles may have already been modified. In order to determine this, inspect for a colored mark on the transmission case as shown in the diagram. If a colored mark is on the transmission case, it is not necessary to complete the modification. Only an inspection claim is necessary.
