Fig. 23 Lower Control Arm Removal With Rubber Bushing Stabilizer:

Fig. 24 Lower Control Arm Removal With Pillow-ball Stabilizer:

Remove lower control arm in numbered sequence, Fig. 23 and 24, noting the following:
1. Check ball joint starting torque. Torque should be 26-87 inch lbs. If reading exceeds specified amount, replace lower arm assembly.
2. Reverse procedure to install.
