Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the harness terminal.
2. Remove the sensor with a suitable socket or wrench.

Oxygen Sensor:

INSTALLATION:
1. Apply a thin coating of anti-seize compound to the threads.

NOTE: Do not contaminate the sensor tip with compound.

2. Install the sensor and tighten to proper torque.

Torque: 40 - 50 Nm (30 - 36 ft.lb)

3. Apply a thin coating of dielectric compound to the connector.
4. Connect harness terminal.
