TURBOCHARGER REPAIR KIT
PURPOSE
New parts kits are available for turbocharger repairs, upgrades, and overhauls. Use of these kits ensures that the latest components are installed when replacing turbocharger components.
AFFECTED VEHICLES
1990-94 Eclipse Turbo.
INSTRUCTIONS
Follow the removal/installation sequences on pages 15-19,15-20, and 15-21 in the 92-94 Eclipse Service Manual, Vol. 1. When servicing the turbocharger with these kits, all gaskets, O-rings, and snap rings in the service kit must be used.
Note that the Repair/Upgrade Kit for A/T vehicles includes a turbine housing assembly as well as a cartridge. The cartridge and housing, which must be used together, provide an increase in turbo cooling capacity.
