Fill Pipe Restrictor:

PURPOSE/OPERATION
Prevents the addition of leaded fuel, which would coat the oxygen sensor, and catalytic converter with lead. the flap controls evaporation of fuel during the time the filler cap is removed. The smaller fill pipe center opening prevents leaded fuel nozzles from be inserted.
